Activities on Wheels

Steer yourself to an adrenalin rush when you take to the wheel in anything from pilot buggies, karts and even a hovercraft……

Segway Racing
Forget all previous motorised experiences; riding a segway is a unique and thrilling experience. Segway racing is the latest motorised craze that offers a new dimension to an already popular theme.

Hovercraft
Single seater hovercrafts on a grass circuit. It really takes some control to turn a corner.

Blindfold Driving
Where your colleagues will be responsible for guiding you blindfolded around a course – a superb trust exercise!

Quad Bikes
Four wheel motorbikes driven around a tight circuit. Timed laps and an obstacle course add to the fun.

Pilot Buggies
Fast-moving, dune buggy like four-wheeler. Strapped into a safety cage race around the course.

Reverse Steer Buggy
An adapted car – turns left when you turn right and vice versa, not easy until you take control of your reactions.

Mini JCB Challenge
A test of skill driving a mini JCB. Holes to be dug, things to be flattened – and time’s ticking! Can you fix it?

M&MR Activities on the Water

Imagine the scene. Delegates are presented with a pile of cardboard, plastic, tape and scissors. To them its a pile of rubbish. To M&MR its the equipment to build a 2 man boat for a race across the lake that all team members must participate in shortly. Cue frenetic activity, lots of initial disbelief but huge amounts of satisfaction when their construction not only floats, but supports the weight of team members and is competitive in the race. An incredibly rewarding activity on the water and is only one example of M&MR’s unusual water based events. See below for further examples or follow the link.

Activities on Water

Britain’s abundance of great rivers, lakes and stretches of water make perfect venues for parties wishing to participate in one of our extensive range of water-based activities. Getting wet has never been so much fun.

Cruising the Thames
Book a classic sailing vessel which can be used as an unusual venue for a party, for some on-board team building activities or as part of a treasure hunt.

Classic Tall Ships & Historic Weapons Experience
Combine these two on a historic ship to make for a most unusual and memorable day.

Off-shore Sailing
From a day’s sailing on the Solent, to a five day adventure to Spain and back. Learn the basics in a laser dinghy on a lake or roar around the Solent in a fleet of catamarans.

Power Boats
Learn to handle 10.5m Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) (capable of around fifty knots) and enjoy the sights of the Solent.

Great Thames Treasure Hunt
See the sights of London whilst solving the clues at a variety of piers and sites, with the Tower Bridge opening as the final timegate.

Dragon Boat Racing
What about stepping aboard a thirty to forty foot vessel with carved dragonheads & tails? Powered by paddling teams of up to ten people. Colourful and dynamic, dragon boat racing is full of spectacle and great fun.

Raft Building
Build and race your very own raft from the materials given for
a hilarious (and often very wet) water activity.

Radio Controlled Speedboat Relay
Each team must complete as many laps of the lake as they can, with drivers changing on the whistle, and at random, blindfold driving rounds. Strategy is required meaning the team must plan carefully when to bring their ship into “dock” to change batteries – too soon and they waste time, too late and the boat will need rescuing, ensuring big time penalties….

Fit for London 2012 Intercompany Sports Challenge

M&MR deliver successfull sports day at Warwick University for London 2012 Olympic sponsors: Adidas, BMW, Coca Cola, UPS, Visa and Deloitte. Denise Lewis attended and is was a fantastic activity day filled with some genuine Olympic sporting challenges. On the track we had 100m, 400m and 100m relay. In the field we had traditional events such as Long Jump mixed in with some more quirky activities such as welly wanging, tug of war and softball. Away from athletics other events competed in were archery, football and volleyball. The day was a fantastic team building opportunity for all 6 companies delivered over a sunny afternoon. A repeat programme using indoor Olympic events is already booked in for November this year with the planning of a Winter Olympic event being planned for February next year.

All 6 companies used the event as a team building opportunity and therefore M&MR managed to deliver a 6 in 1 team building event!
